Most of the time, the Cooperative gets a price which is lower than the official price. This is known as "AFA Price”.
The Associates’ great volume of production, the set up of a strategic network of services on a wide area, the logistics used and the possibility of exporting directly make it easier to get this price.
It’s very important to point out that, for some years, there has been a political and institutional decision of giving the Associates the prices obtained every day. This is why AFA’s Associates got the following bonuses in the prices when trading their grains:
