Since the fiscal year 2007-2008, AFA has provided totally free medical high complexity coverage for the Associates that worked consecutively in the last three fiscal years or those who worked during ten alternate years and without withdrawing the capital stock. In the last years, this benefit was extended to the Associates’ spouses and to former employees.

This service is provided by Solidez S. A., a company formed by non-profit organizations which created an entity ready to cover the medical high complexity services. Solidez S. A. has arranged coverage with different organizations: prepaid health care, mutual societies, health insurance and cooperatives. These are corporate contracts. There are no individual contracts with the Associates but contracts with the organizations.
