From 1993 on, in Los Cardos, Agricultores Federados Argentinos Limited Cooperative Society made incursions into the industrialization of oil seeds with the construction of a plant with a stockpiling capacity of 120,000 tons of seeds and more than 60 employees.

All the raw material that is used comes from the Cooperative’s Associate producers.

Currently, Edible Oil Industry Los Cardos is in charge of the following processes of industrialization:

Solvent Oil Extraction

Production of soy protein flour of half and high protein.

Canolla, sunflower and soy oil refining.

Liquid lecithin production.

All the production is authorized by the standards:

BPM

Kosher Certificate

Thanks to this process, AFA generates an important workforce for the region and rises the grains value that the Associate producers trust the Cooperative with the motto “De la semilla a la mesa” (From the seed to the table).
